1 supine tubeless PCNL, 1 RIRS and 1 simultaneous bilateral RIRS URS with Backstop gel for urolithiasis have been carried out uneventfully.
Picture 1: Axial CT scan of the 1st patient (left supine tubeless PCNL): one stone (HU 600) of 3 cm in maximum diameter in the left kidney is showed. The patient is also affected with right renal calculi but he refused simultaneous bilateral supine PCNL.
Picture 2: Axial CT scan of the 2nd patient (right RIRS left URS using Backstop gel): a 1.5 cm right renal stone in the pelvis (HU 1600 ) and left severe hydronephrosis caused by distal ureteral calculi are showed.
Picture 3: Axial CT scan of the 3rd patient (right RIRS): a 1.2 cm right renal stone (HU 900) of the pelvis in a patient who previously underwent right PCNL in an other hospital is showed.
